Tuition Assistance at The Montessori School

The Montessori School is committed to making its educational programs accessible to families of all socio-economic backgrounds. Tuition assistance is awarded based on a student’s need given the guardian’s financial abilities. The awarding of tuition assistance is an annual process and is not automatically renewed from year to year. A tuition assistance packet must be filed for each year that assistance is requested. Families who qualify are typically granted hundreds to thousands off of the year’s tuition. You need to have already applied for admission to the school in order for your Tuition Assistance Application to be eligible. 

Application Process

Financial support is need-based and is determined through a thorough evaluative process beginning with a family’s application through FAST, a secure online program that evaluates a family’s ability to pay tuition based on a variety of factors. FAST will analyze the information in your application to estimate your family’s ability to contribute to educational expenses. There is an additional option to include a letter where you may also describe your current situation and any potential impact on your ability to pay for tuition. Once you submit the application and all required documents, FAST will send their recommendation report within seven business days to The Montessori School administration to evaluate. 

Cost
The cost for this application is $53.00 payable to FAST and is non-refundable. FAST accepts most major credit cards. 

Applicants
Regardless of whether or not parents or guardians are living in the same household, both parents or guardians must submit their information for the application to be considered by the school.

Application Timeline
The application period for the 2024/2025 school year begins December 1, 2023. Applications received after June 1, 2024 may take a few weeks to be processed or be declined. These funds are granted on a first come first serve basis. Current families receive the status of their application at the end of April and prospective TMS families will receive their status at the end of May.
