Our School

The Montessori School is located in the heart of Kalamazoo and serves Southwest Michigan with high quality, comprehensive education that fosters a love of learning and addresses the whole child academically, emotionally, and socially. Children can begin in our classrooms at age two years, nine months of age and attend through the sixth grade. Our campus is composed of two buildings in addition to four outdoor learning environments with the bonus feature of Axtell Creek Park in our backyard!

The Montessori School was our choice even before moving to Kalamazoo in June 2020. We moved in the middle of the pandemic and were a bit skeptical about sending our 3 year old anywhere. Once we talked to the Head of the school and met the teachers, we felt at ease and comfortable. The school has taken such good care of the kids during this time.
