COMMUNITY AT THE MONTESSORI SCHOOL
We understand the value of a strong community. Our families actively contribute to the community by volunteering their time, resources, and talents. In addition to bi-weekly newsletters, and an active Facebook page, we invite families to connect with each other informally, help us organize special events and fundraising efforts, and meet in person for school-hosted events – all with a goal of creating a network that links the classroom to the community, and in turn, to the world. We work together to provide an inclusive community that embraces and affirms all identities, backgrounds, and experiences.

Community EventsThe Spring Concert is a celebration of music that allows the children to showcase vocal, dance and instrumental pieces from a variety of cultures. The children work hard all year on their songs and dances, and it is always exciting to see what they have accomplished!
End of the Year Celebrations: These look different from year to year but offer an opportunity to connect with your classroom community and the greater TMS community to celebrate the end of a fantastic school year and the beginning of summer! |
FundraisersFall Festival is a special social event for the school community that also serves as a school fundraiser. The event is planned by family volunteers and is a great way to have fun with other families at the School. Admission includes dinner, entertainment, and activities.
The Main Event is a night of food, drinks and fun for any and all friends of TMS! This event helps us purchase new materials and outdoor equipment, provide professional development opportunities for staff, and support our tuition assistance program. |
