Together, we grow. 

We are excited to introduce The Montessori School’s Annual Fundraising Campaign, themed “Together, we grow.” Our goal is to raise $25,000 this year to support some much-needed projects to better our school community, including: 

• ​Community Enrichment: We hope to purchase C-Pen text to speech reader assistive learning tools, a new “mud kitchen” for the 750 Howard Street building playground area, and new balance bikes for both Primary and Elementary students to use.
• Building Improvement: The 750 Howard Street building requires targeted building improvements, and the first priorities is a filtered water bottle filling station and a soffit replacement project, which will safeguard the building’s roof and maintain adequate ventilation. 
• Staff Development: Did you know that The Montessori School sponsors teachers who would like additional training to become Montessori-accredited lead guides or Montessori-accredited assistants at TMS? The cost for these trainings range but start around $1,000 for an assistant to $6,000-$10,000 for a lead guide. By sponsoring these training courses, TMS invests in current staff as well as ensures that the school has Montessori-accredited, quality teachers for the future.

The Montessori School is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All student tuition goes directly to the school’s operating expenses, and like most non-profit organizations, a gap exists between our income and the expenses necessary to better our school community and ensure its long-term health. Tax-deductible donations from our community will help accomplish these important projects and build a brighter future for The Montessori School. Together, we grow!

Write a check: Write a check to "The Montessori School," and write "Annual Fund" in the memo. Checks can be mailed or dropped off.

Ask your company for a matching gift: Many companies offer matched gifts to non-profit organizations. Please ask your HR department if your company participates!
