Thank you for your interest in The Montessori School and the opportunity to provide your child with a unique and superior education using the Montessori approach.
The first step in the enrollment process is to plan a visit to the School. The enrollment process usually begins in January for the following fall. From January to May, the School holds bi-monthly open houses on Sunday afternoons, the schedule for which can be seen here. We recommend you begin here. At the open house, you will meet the Head of School, the Business Manager, a Head Primary Teacher, and Elementary Teacher and one or two members of our Board. You are welcome to bring your entire family; aunts, uncles, grandma and grandpa too if they’re interested. We love to show off our beautiful facility and introduce you to our programs, mission and philosophy.
Though we recommend this as a second step, you are always also welcome to schedule a personal tour of the school (call 269-349-3248). These tours are conducted by our Head of School and allow you to see our classrooms in action. You will meet with our Head of School. Our hope is to learn more about the needs of your family and your educational goals for your child.
Should you choose to enroll your child, we ask that you complete an Enrollment Contract Form and submit this to the office with your application fee of $35. You will receive a response within 10 days.
The School’s Tuition Assistance program reflects our commitment to our students and families by ensuring that students can benefit from our programs irrespective of their financial resources (link to tuition assistance area of site). Financial aid decisions are made independently of admissions decisions and do not affect an applicant’s opportunity for enrollment.
